French online gaming regulatory authority ARJEL has published its latest licencing awards and repeals with Pari Mutuel Urbain (PMU) receiving approvals on its latest horse race betting and sports betting software as well as BetClic on its sports betting software.
The Nation Traffic SAS will no longer be launching its sports betting offering into the French market citing difficulties it faces in terms of profitability of its operations, leading to ARJEL repealing its already approved licence on the company’s request.
Additionally, ARJEL has amended its list of competition categories and types of results that can be used by sports betting operators with the expansion of the hockey, ice hockey, basketball and athletics categories amongst others.
The body also announced it will be initiating proceedings for sanctions against an unidentified, certified operator without revealing the alleged transgression.
