Clients of online games and platform provider 1×2 Gaming will soon additionally have access to virtual sports facilities thanks to the company’s partnership with developer Leap-Gaming.
The initial collaboration includes virtual horse racing, greyhounds, velodrome cycling and speedway, and there are plans to introduce tennis and trotting before the end of 2015, with football becoming available early in 2016.
The new product is fully customisable and is available for all channels, including desktop, mobile and retail p.o.s.
1×2 Gaming marketing chief Kevin Reid said this week that the addition of a virtual sports selection opens up new opportunities for the company
“We feel that this product is perfectly complementary to data driven virtual sports games, which have been hugely successful since launch in 2002,” he said.
