Leicester City champs get an added bonus

The football team that put Leicester City FC at the top of the English Premier League earlier this year, crushing all before them, received an added bonus this week from a delighted club owner, Thai businessman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha…. a GBP 100,000 BMW i8 luxury sports car apiece.

The nineteen cars, all painted a glossy blue in honour of the club colours, were delivered to the club headquarters as a sign of the owner’s appreciation for their outstanding achievement against all odds (at one time 5,000 to 1).

Under coach and manager Claudio Ranieri, the side has already commenced preparing for the new season.
