LeoVegas extends sponsorship of UK rugby club

England’s most successful Rugby Union club, Leicester Tigers, has announced a new two-year partnership agreement with mobile gambling operator LeoVegas. The deal includes the acceptance of LeoVegas as the club’s official betting partner.

The extension runs until the end of the 2019/20 season, and follows a successful first full year in connection with the Welford Road based outfit.

LeoVegas said in a statement Thursday that its goal remains a commitment to rugby in a sports betting market that is becoming increasingly saturated.

The online gambling operator’s logo will be displayed on the team’s shorts, and the Leicester Tiger’s app is included in the sponsorship deal. LeoVegas will also receive stadium display and promotional benefits associated with the rugby club.

LeoVegas UK marketing manager Tom Jacobs said Thursday: “With back-to-back European Cups to the club’s name and more league title triumphs than any other team in the record books, we’re looking forward to supporting the club with their ambitions over the coming seasons.”
