Mobile casino operator LeoVegas.com, is celebrating its fifth birthday by hitting the Euro 800 million deposited mark, the company boasted in a statement Tuesday.
Launched in February 2012, the mobile casino reports continuous growth and a current player base of more than “regular” 600,000 punters who generate up to Euro 40 million per quarter, creating 76 percent growth in revenue over the last nine months alone.
In the process the operator has added more than 670 different casino games to its portfolio, and was also the first operator in the industry to launch in-game deposits across all markets.
LeoVegas.com became a listed company in March 2016, before expanding into the sports betting market with the introduction of LeoSport last summer, as well as the launch of LeoVegas’ unique NetEnt Live Casino product in 2016. More recently, in January 2017, the company signed its biggest sponsorship deal to date, with Leicester Tigers becoming its Official Betting and Gaming Partner.
The company’s success is attributed to innovative marketing which has helped the brand develop rapidly in the UK through a series of ground-breaking advertising and PR campaigns, as well as working with influencers including professional skier Jon Olsson and comedian Johnny Vegas, who was recently announced as LeoVegas’ latest brand ambassador in February 2017.
The company has also received a number of industry awards.
Shenaly Amin, UK country manager at LeoVegas.com, said in a statement Tuesday:
“We’ve beaten our own expectations in terms of growth over the last half a decade, and we’re extremely proud to now employ 363 people across two countries. The future is looking very exciting as we continue to develop our Live Casino and Sportsbook offering and add even more games to our platform.”
