Live dealer games acceptable in the Philippines

Live dealer action is to be added to the list of acceptable forms of online gambling for Philippine Offshore Gambling Operator licensees, the regulator and licensor Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp has announced.

PAGCOR has set out a Permit to Possess accreditation framework for live dealer studio and production facilities seeking to offer services to licensed electronic gaming sites.

Application fees of PHP250,000 ($4,792) will apply, which includes the cost of accreditation and will be valid for one year, with renewals retaining the same pricing.

The Permit to Possess itself will cost PHP1 million, and is also valid for one year, with a PHP 1 million renewal fee.

The live action provider/studio will be required to submit a certificate from a certified testing agency proving that the product is not available to Philippine IP addresses other than those accredited by Pagcor.
