Live casino action technology and games provider Authentic Games announced Wednesday that its first Danish operator, RoyalCasino.dk, has gone live and that other operators are scheduled to follow suit in coming weeks.
Authentic recently completed its full certification to offer games to Danish licensed operators, and the games are being streamed from the floor of local land-based operator Royal Casino, with the operator’s online business the first to offer online action.
Jonas Delin, CEO of Authentic Gaming, said in a statement Wednesday: “We are delighted to be taking our very first bets from Danish players at RoyalCasino.dk. Now that we are certified to operate in the market, we will launch with more tier one operators in the coming weeks and months.
“We have already been offering the Royal Casino table to our European operators with great success, but to finally be able to offer a ‘local table to local players’ is a great achievement as it enables us to provide a fully localised solution to meet the Danish market demand.”
The news comes shortly after Authentic Gaming launched in the UK after receiving its licence from the Great Britain Gambling Commission last month. Authentic has signed an agreement to livestream tables from the floor of the Aspers Casino Westfield Stratford City, London (see previous report).
