Lottovate, a B2B division of Zeal Network, will launch a new mobile-first charity lottery in Norway, in partnership with UNICEF during the second quarter. The announcement follows the award of a nine-year charity lottery license from the Norwegian gambling regulator, the second of only two in the market.
Lottovate will act as a full service provider for UNICEF Norway with an online, mobile-first game offer, the proceeds of which will be used to fund UNICEF activities on a global level.
Further expanding its International presence, the company will also move into the Dutch market following the award of its first full lottery operator licence from Kansspelautoriteit.
The new licence allows Lottovate to run a nationwide charity lottery under the Dutch regulatory framework for a period of five years.
Lottovate is planning the introduction of a social lottery for Dutch consumers by the third quarter in which it aims to connect customers to social communities and good causes.
ZEAL intends combining jackpots with social aspects, saying it is confident that “this unique product will reach a wider demographic than traditional lottery”.
