After weeks of hype, Las Vegas From Home finally launched its Real Vegas Casino social wagering product on Facebook Tuesday.
The product is an innovative mix of sports wagering and social gaming mechanics that will appeal to sports fans around the world, a company spokesman boasted, explaining that it simulates a real world sportsbook by using Las Vegas style real-time wagering odds while allowing players to wager on sporting events with virtual currency.
Players can select from a wide range of sports including NBA, NHL, NFL, MLB, MLS, major college sports and European soccer. In addition, the offering provides a range of casino games and a full set of social features, allowing players to share bets with friends and/or compete against each other.
LVFH intends to continue expanding the product with future innovative social gaming features that enhance the player experience while driving more traffic.
Players can try out the games for free and purchase virtual currency in the form of Facebook Credits to extend and enhance their gameplay. Since all payouts are in virtual currency and cannot be redeemed for cash, this business model is legal in most countries including the USA.
Real Vegas Casino features a 1080p High Definition user interface, an emphasis on social multiplayer game play and a full slate of interactive casino and sports wagering games.
