On Friday Macau’s Gaming Inspection and Coordination bureau released figures for Macau gambling in the month of May, reporting that revenues grew 12.1 percent year-on-year to 25.5 billion patacas ($3.16 billion).
The growth was lower than expected after analysts predicted a figure somewhere between 16 and 20 percent, but nevertheless maintained Macau’s upward growth trend for the twenty-second consecutive month, and was just short of April’s 25.7 billion patacas.
