The UK online gambling group bet365, a consistently high-performer in the online and mobile environment, has big expansion plans that could see another 600 Britons employed over the next ten years in a major new multi-million pound office complex to be constructed in Etruria, a suburb of Stoke-on-Trent, where the company is currently headquartered.
The 13,000 square meter new headquarters will be almost double the size of the company’s present premises and is necessary to support bet365’s plans for expansion, housing its 2,200 staff and those that will be hired going forward.
Chief executive officer Denise Coates told local media this week that the company would begin construction of the new premises in the summer months, and the switch to the new headquarters would take place some time in 2016.
