A slots player in Norway has won Euro 2.9 million on Yggdrasil Gaming’s Joker Millions progressive jackpot slot after playing the game on a mobile device as he waited outside a shop for his girlfriend.
Chris, a 21-year-old from Oslo, was playing the slot on the LeoVegas mobile site on Monday afternoon and spun Euro 2,881,257 from a bet of just Euro 1.25 place whilst he waited as his girlfriend bought apples in a grocery store.
The player told casino management that he plans to invest in two apartments with the money, and also take his girlfriend to the Maldives to celebrate.
It is the third time Joker Millions has paid out since it launched in March 2015, having previously fallen for Euro 720,000 last September and Euro 460,000 last December.
