Spain-based and internationally active betting solutions technology provider Optima Gaming achieved a signal honour this week at the prestigious Oracle Innovation Excellence Awards at Oracle Openworld in San Francisco in the company of US technology giants such as Cisco, Accenture and other world-wide tech organisations.
Jacob Lopez Curciel, founder and CEO of Optima was present to accept the award for innovation in cloud systems management at the award ceremony, commenting that technological achievements are not always fully appreciated in the gambling sector.
“Recognition by a technology giant like Oracle is a great honour and achievement for Optima and its staff,” he said, adding that the award is proof that Optima’s business strategy and technology planning are sound and appropriate for the immediate future.
The Oracle award follows news earlier this year that Optima has been short-listed for six awards in four categories at the SBC Awards, which will be made in early December this year in London.
Optima is a finalist for the following awards:
Best Multichannel Supplier
Sportsbook Supplier of the year
Best Live Betting Product
Standalone Platform Provider of the year
Best Retail Betting Product
Best Service Provider
In 2017 the company won the Best Standalone Platform Provider Award for its OptimaMGS product, an integral, turnkey e-gaming and sports betting platform solution.
OptimaMGS orchestrates applications, engines and tools, bundled with support, development and integration services, allowing operators to serve their customers through multiple customer engagement channels, for multiple product verticals, all under a single system, using advanced technology and providing access to hundreds of services and third party products.
