Malaysian Police in the Kota Samarahan region of Sarawak have raided another seven premises in its anti-online gambling drive, confiscating around one hundred computers, RM 7000 in cash and arresting 32 customers.
The raid was carried out over the weekend by the State Police Anti-Vice, Gaming and Secret Society Department comprising seven police officers and another sixteen related personnel who simultaneously swooped on the seven shops.
Detainees, said to include three women and government employees, will be charged under the Country’s Common House Gambling Act.
