Malaysian gambling still rampant

The China Press reports that despite unrelenting police enforcement pressure , online gambling continues to flourish in mainly small online gambling shops in Malaysia.
The report notes that to keep punters at the PC, the operators of these small online facilities, often accommodated in small rooms above shops, frequently provide refreshments for their clients.  These are usually residents of the surrounding area who come in to have a flutter on virtual slots and table games.
Local knowledge is important for those wishing to use the gambling services, because operators dare not advertise their presence with signage, and take care in who they will admit to the premises.
