Police detained 35 men during raids on 11 Internet gambling premises around Seberang Perai Selatan, in Malaysia Tuesday
Police spokesman Superintendent Shafien Mamat said the raids were carried out from 3pm to 9pm, and that 12 employees of the premises, aged between 20 and 40, were also arrested.
“We seized gambling materials worth about RM260,000, including 130 computers,” he told reporters.
Shafien said urine tests on three suspects found them positive for the drug syabu and further investigations would be carried out.
