Addressing a gathering whilst visiting the Tipico online gambling group premises in Malta Tuesday, the leader of Malta’s Labour Party said that if elected to government, the party would continue to sustain the online gambling sector, which it believes has a future in Malta.
Party leader Joseph Muscat said the party believes in the digital economy, and the Mediterranean island should develop an education system that could offer more specialised training to serve the needs of the sector better.
Tipico exec Jan Bolz said the company currently employs 200 people from 16 countries and plans to expand its labour force in the coming months.
