The Cherry Group advised Thursday that Jonas Wåhlander, md of its recently acquired subsidiary ComeOn Malta Ltd, has resigned following the appointment of a new management team with extensive experience, tasked with taking ComeOn! to the next level.
“The integration process in our Online Gaming business area has reached a point where we now want to intensify our growth ambitions and further strengthen ComeOn!’s market position,” a company statement explained.
Cherry group CEO Anders Holmgren added:
“Following a period of internal focus, it is time to take advantage of the strength that exists within the company. We have begun the recruitment of a new managing director for ComeOn! and the new management team comprises several people with experience from ComeOn! since the company’s inception.
“They will take the company to the next level in terms of earnings and market focus. The fact that several of them are also shareholders in Cherry AB will benefit development.”
