Manx Telecom creates ebusiness position

Isle of Man telecommunications and Internet provider Manx Telecom has appointed Tony Wilkinson as its first UK-based eBusiness Development Sales Manager.
Wilkinson’s role will be to expand the company’s eBusiness market, including a renewed focus on the eGaming sector.  The appointment coincides with the announcement that Manx Telecom is to invest GBP 20 million in building a second Data Centre on the Isle of Man which is expected to form a key part in Manx Telecom’s drive to win a bigger slice of the eGaming market.
Welcoming him to the team, Marcus Warren, Director of Sales and Marketing at Manx Telecom, said, “Tony’s recruitment is part of our strategy to strengthen our marketing, sales, and new business development teams as we gear up to expand our business, both in the UK and globally.  Part of that expansion will be a heightened focus on eGaming.”
