Following a highly successful first staging in 2019, the second edition of CasinoBeats Malta will expand to a full two-day event in March 2020, packed with high-quality content and networking opportunities.
CasinoBeats Malta will once again bring valuable industry insight, knowledge sharing and networking opportunities to the heart of one of online gaming’s spiritual homelands. The four-track conference and two-day exhibition takes place at the Intercontinental Malta in St Julian’s on March 25/26, 2020.
The event will bring together 1,500 senior-level attendees from operators, suppliers and regulators, joined by a carefully curated host of sector visionaries to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the online casino industry.
James Ford, Head of Casino at LeoVegas, took part in last year’s inaugural CasinoBeats Malta, on a panel considering igaming’s search for innovation. Commenting on the June 2019 panel, Ford said: “Having three speakers from operators and three from providers gave a lot of insight because there are two sides to the story. It is interesting to see what the other side is looking at and it is good to hear their views on innovation.”
Simon Hammon, Chief Product Officer at Relax Gaming and also a CasinoBeats Malta speaker, added: “The sessions encourage discussions that you may have behind closed doors or with colleagues and you get a wider perspective. It’s a calibration of what the market is feeling.”
Robin Hutchison, Director at betting and gaming communications agency Square in the Air, a sponsor of the inaugural CasinoBeats Malta, said: “What both CasinoBeats and SBC have done particularly well in the last couple of years is to bring proper content to conferences.”
With reference to the recent CasinoBeats Summit in London, Hutchison added: “We’re all used to industry conferences that have big stands and a fairly formulaic way of presenting company messages but the content on display at the CasinoBeats Summit and the quality of the people there was fantastic.”
Reflecting on another step forward for CasinoBeats, Managing Director Stewart Darkin said: “We began hosting networking events in Malta in 2019, led locally by Lorena Torregrosa, our Business Development Director on the island.
“What we have learned is that the Malta igaming community is vibrant and agile, with companies very keen to engage with the CasinoBeats way of doing things.
“We are very excited about returning to Malta in March, with a bigger event that reflects the desire of the island’s gaming sector to engage with thoughtful content and unrivalled networking opportunities.”
