The Massachusetts Gaming Commission (MGC) is readying the launch of a digital advertising campaign, in partnership with MORE Advertising, to promote responsible gaming programme, GameSense.
Due for launch at the end of this week, the campaign aims to create awareness around the Gamesense programme, adopted from BCLC, which provides specific resources and tools including links to advisors, voluntary self-exclusion and consumer education.
The series of 15-second and 30-second ads, which will be flighted across online and social channels, feature GameSense Advisors relaying responsible gambling tips.
“In February 2015, the MGC adopted GameSense from BCLC after proactively identifying the program as perhaps the most robust and effective responsible gaming program in the world,” Marck van der Linden, director of research at MGC, said. “At that time, Massachusetts became the first jurisdiction outside of Canada to embrace the internationally recognized program”.
