MediaRex’ Hold’em X launched

Texas hold’em with an eSports twist has been launched in Alpha to a select group by Alex Dreyfus’ MediaRex.

While standard Texas hold’em rules apply, Hold’em X introduces a second deck comprising power-up cards such as Magic the Gathering or Hearthstone and special ability xCards which grant special powers.

With the popularity of online trading card games such as Magic the Gathering and most especially Hearthstone, Dreyfus hopes to attract the millennial audience
