Microgaming’s progressive online slot Mega Moolah has made another multi-millionaire, the online gambling and software provider announced Thursday.
The mega progressive was hit on Monday 25 September 2017 by a Unibet player, providing a Euro 7,742,015.53 pay day and the second largest prize to be won on Microgaming’s progressive jackpot network this year, following the Euro 8 million mobile jackpot hit in April.
As with all wins on the network, the player will receive the prize as a lump sum.
Cristiano Blanco, head of casino at Unibet, said Thursday: “One of our customers has managed to win the jackpot on our main Unibet brand.”
The company did not release any further details on the player or his/her plans for the windfall.
David Reynolds, games publisher at Microgaming, added: “This is our fifth largest jackpot win to date. Many congratulations to our Quickfire operator Unibet and their lucky player on this amazing win.”
Microgaming’s progressive jackpot network, which the company claims is the biggest in the industry, has paid out over Euro 783 million to date.
