Prolific online gaming provider Microgaming has become the eighth member of Colombian non-profit, trade association, Federación Colombiana de Empresarios de Juegos de Suerte y Azar (Fecoljuegos).
The membership provides Microgaming an in-depth insight into the Latin American market as it targets further Latin American and International expansion.
Andrew Clucas, chief operating officer of Microgaming, said:
“This is a significant moment for Microgaming since we are venturing into the Latin American market with several operators who will be launching our games in the coming months.
“Our affiliation with Fecoljuegos strengthens our presence in Colombia and is an opportunity to exchange crucial ideas with other affiliated companies, take advantage of local expertise and support the growth of the industry.
“We hope to work hand in hand with the Federation by promoting high quality standards in the game within the region and taking advantage of our experience in promoting responsible gaming in the different markets in which we have a presence. ”
President of Fecoljuegos, Evert Montero Cárdenas, added:
“Suppliers and manufacturers are essential for the development of games of luck and chance, that is why the Federation recognises the contributions they make to the sector and how important it is that they are represented.”
