Online gambling software provider Microgaming has gone live with a new operator, Kombispel, through a first time agreement with Genera Networks, a games provider in the regulated Swedish market which is supplying Kombispel with Microgaming’s bingo, scratchcard and lottery games.
“This is the first time that Microgaming has set up an arrangement with a member of the World Lottery Association (WLA) and builds the foundation to a new network,” a Microgaming spokesman said Wednesday. “The union of these key industry players allows operators of Genera Networks access to a new world of games through Microgaming’s portfolio of products.”
Rickard Strömberg, director of Genera Networks says: “When looking for a company to work with, Microgaming was the natural fit. Its content is world renowned and we are excited to see how Swedish players respond to this. This agreement gives our existing users access to a whole range of new products and expertise, as well as allowing us to expand our operations and attract new players.”
Roger Raatgever, CEO of Microgaming, adds: “As well as providing us with a portal into the Swedish market, which we had not yet entered, we are excited to see how we can strengthen Genera Networks’ offering. After the first month our content is already proving as popular with Swedish players as it is elsewhere.”
