Microgaming has released details on its latest slot, Lost Vegas which launches in October and allows players to decide whether they want to play as either Zombies or Survivors …and they can switch sides at any time.
The theme exploits the popularity of the “undead” trend and is set in a post-apocalyptic Las Vegas in this 243 ways-to-win game; the streets are empty, casinos are deserted and the infected and hungry hordes lurk in the shadows.
Features in the game include the Zombie Fist of Cash punching out onto the screen, and a blackout bonus which scans the reels for Zombies or Survivors. Both award cash prizes and are triggered randomly in the base game.
The free spins feature is triggered when three or more scatter symbols appear on the reels or if one scatter symbol lands on the reels during the Blackout Bonus. If the player joins the resourceful Survivors, working alongside a fiery bartender, a no nonsense mobster and a baseball wielding club girl, the free spins comprise an innovative Stash feature.
Every low symbol that lands on the screen is snatched off the reels, revealing cash prizes, and each low symbol removed increases the Survivor’s win potential; free spins continue until all low symbols have been stashed.
In Zombie mode, together with the undead Elvis impersonator and a couple of newly-deads, free spins are awarded with a new Infection feature. A full Zombie symbol stack landing on the reel leads to infection, and the stacked symbol remains until all five reels are infected. Up to 50 free spins are on offer.
Lost Vegas launches on desktop and mobile to Microgaming and Quickfire operators on Wednesday 5th October 2016.
