Misionbet back online this week

The Misionbet online gambling site will be back online this week, at least in its home province in Argentina, following the implementation of geo-location measures ensuring that the action is confined within the boundaries of the Misiones province.

Our readers may recall that the website was taken offline last year by the Buenos Aires public prosecutor on allegations that it was offering its online gambling services to residents of provinces other than Misiones.

Last month the suspension was lifted by a Buenos Aires court on condition that Misiones deployed effective geo-location measures to control its operations and keep them within the Misiones provincial borders.

This week the Provincial Institute of Lottery and Casinos of the State Society in Misiones confirmed that the Misionbet site is now compliant with the court’s conditions and will reopen.
