Police from the Malaysian State of Sabah have arrested four men in two gambling raids this week.
Computers, modems, gaming consoles and other items valued at RM 80 000 were confiscated from two shop houses accused of operating roulette gambling.
The focus on shutting down online gambling operations follows Home Minister Datuk Hishammuddin Tun Hussein’s recent comments on the rise of the activity in the State.
The case will be investigated under the Malaysian Common Gaming House Act.
