The Malaysian police continued to mount online gambling den raids Monday, this time in the Petaling Jaya region in Selangor province, where seven separate raids netted 18 individuals, six of them foreign nationals.
The federal Special Task Force for Anti-Vice, Gaming and Gangsterism carried out the raids under the command of Senior Asst Comm Khairi Ahrasa, who told reporters that 64 laptops and computers, five mobile tablets, seven modems, 12 cell phones and cash were seized.
The owner of the outlets is still being sought as police investigations continue.
