Spanish sports betting consumer group Muebete.org has launched new lawsuits against William Hill and bwin.
Our readers will recall a similar suit launched against bet365 last year, which is reportedly still ongoing (see previous report).
The group is targeting bwin and William Hill for what it claims are abusive terms and conditions, indiscriminate account closures and unfair restrictions.
The basis for these new claims are based on different articles of General Consumer Law, the website says.
“Despite the increasing conviction, the vast majority of operators continue to abuse and discriminate almost systematically. First was bet365, now Bwin and William Hill. If no one puts an end to this situation of absolute defenselessness, these two companies will not be the last on the defendant list”.
Predictably, legal services are provided by Ricardo Fábrega Alarcón, the same legal professional responsible for the ongoing process against bet365.
