Gibraltar-based international B2B and white label gaming software and services provider Nektan plc has announced the appointments of Jane Ryan and Michael Byrne as chief operating officers overseeing respectively its business-to-business unit and its white label activity.
Byrne joins from Microgaming, where he held the position of regional business manager and played a key role in setting up a new Malta hub for the company’s gaming platform Quickfire. He was previously chief commercial officer and senior director at IGT for its Interactive division, and led William Hill’s mobile division during a four-year spell with the operator.
As an internal promotion, Ryan has a proven track record developing and driving Nektan’s B2B international arm. She successfully spearheaded Nektan’s launch in Asia through a global platform agreement with Tyche Digital for its Evolve Lite gaming platform, making Nektan one of the only iGaming platform providers to have presence in Europe, the US and Asia.
Gary Shaw, CEO at Nektan said: “They are two highly capable individuals who will no doubt apply their wealth of industry experience and commercial acumen to grow our B2B and White Label businesses.
“Jane has performed exceptionally well for Nektan, helping to drive our global B2B operations forward, while Michael will bring a fresh perspective to White Label with his industry experience in senior roles.”
