Nektan in distribution deal with High 5 Games

B2B gaming solution and services provider Nektan has entered into an agreement with High 5 Games (H5G) under which it will exclusively distribute the developer’s real money gaming content in Europe and assume responsibility for the management of H5G’s technology and games.

The deal also provides Nektan the rights to port H5G’s existing flash games and back catalogue into HTML5 for mobile distribution, and bring the licensing infrastructure under its own.

The companies have further agreed that Nektan will distribute H5G’s casino content in the Canadian market.

The agreement complements Nektan’s partnership with Spin Games, significantly strengthening Nektan’s B2B business, a press statement reads.

The Group expects to add further high-quality studios and games to the distribution platform, which is powered by Nektan’s proprietary games engine, Evolve Lite.

Leigh Nissim, chief executive officer of Nektan, said: “This is an important development for Nektan as it marks a significant step towards our goal of becoming an international, top tier gaming solutions and services provider.
