Net Entertainment has announced that its games will be available for real money play on Facebook through a social gambling partnership with Bonza Gaming, a joint venture between Sportingbet and Plumbee.
The licence agreement with Bonza will see NetEnt deliver a wide range of slots and casino games to the venture, which in turn will offer real money gaming to Facebook users through its first app, Bonza Slots.
During summer 2012, Facebook announced it would expand its social gaming to real money gaming, initially limited to UK-based Facebook users.
“Net Entertainment is one of the first suppliers of online casino games to enter real money gaming on Facebook and I am very pleased that we are partnering with Bonza Gaming as their casino platform provider of choice,” said Per Eriksson, president and CEO at Net Entertainment.
“Net Entertainment’s gaming portfolio contains several of the world’s most popular games on the traditional online casino market and I am positive that the users on Facebook will be provided with a great experience. Real money gaming over Facebook is a new exciting distribution channel for Net Entertainment and is closely linked to the company’s existing core business.”
“We are delighted to have partnered with Net Entertainment, which after a thorough supplier selection process was the clear winner, and the supplier which could provide our venture with Facebook the best long term strategic value and stability. We are now focused on delivering a successful commercial launch, and with our combined knowledge and experience, I am very positive about this long term partnership”, said Rick Brownlow, CEO at Bonza Gaming.
