NetBet player scores over half a million dollars on Playtech progressive

Online casino operator NetBet has rather belatedly published details of a major jackpot hit last month on the Playtech developed progressive slot Mega-Jackpots Siberian Storm.

The winner, who has elected to remain anonymous, is a British civil servant who was enjoying some downtime at home on a Saturday afternoon when he hit a GBP 506,382.68 jackpot.

NetBet spokesman Alexandre Mangaud said in a statement this week: “With just one spin, this lucky player’s life changed forever. Huge Jackpots are just one of the many reasons that customers are flocking online to play and it is particularly gratifying when one of our players wins such a big prize.”

This win follows a $4 million jackpot won on Gold Rally at NetBet earlier this year (see previous report).
