NetEnt secures Romanian licensing

Swedish online gambling software developer NetEnt has revealed in a stock exchange announcement today (Friday) that it has obtained class two licenses from the National Gambling Office in Romania.

The licenses cover production and distribution of specialised gaming software as well as management and hosting facilities for online gaming.

“Expansion on regulated markets is an important part of NetEnt’s growth strategy,” the advisory notes. “For several years, the company has been investing in technology and expertise to adapt to regulated markets, and holds licenses and certifications in a number of European markets.”
