NetEnt’s latest game has an ancient Egyptian theme

Online gambling software provider NetEnt has released a preview of its next game release, a 5 reel, 720 ways-to-win video slot titled Pyramid: Quest for Immortality.

The new game, which is due for release October 5, brings back the once ubiquitous ancient Egyptian theme, taking players on a challenging quest for the immortality of the Pharaohs, aided by a range of features that includes Wild substitutions, re-spawning Wild Generations, up to 10x Multipliers and the innovative new Avalanche, which vacates symbols so that new ones can cascade down into their positions.

In a move away from traditional presentation, each game reel has differing numbers of symbols to form an appropriately pyramid form, and the historical ancient Egyptian symbols cascade in block form rather than the more usual spinning reels.
