NetplayTV, the UK-listed interactive gaming group, released a trading update Wednesday, reporting:
* Strong Q3 Performance, especially in mobile operations
* 52 percent increase in new depositing casino players to 11,978 (Q3 2011: 7,892) but 4 percent decrease on Q2 2012 – a particularly strong quarter for the company.
* 42 percent increase in active depositing casino players to 22,417 (Q3 2011: 15,805) but 1 percent decrease on Q2 2012
“The growth in new depositing and total depositing customers year on year has resulted in a 34 percent increase in revenue versus Q3 2011,” chief executive officer Charles Butler reported.
“The company is particularly encouraged by the uptake of its mobile and tablet offering where revenues have increased by 107 percent versus Q3 2011. Mobile and tablet gaming continues to be a key focus for the company and during the period it has launched mobile slots games which will significantly enhance the existing TV roulette mobile offering.
“The Directors are pleased with this continued strong performance and are confident of meeting full year market expectations.”
