Nevada Gaming Control Board officials report that land casino revenues in Nevada slipped 6 percent to $833 million in June.
Clark County winnings were down almost 8 percent; Las Vegas Strip casinos reported a nearly 5 percent year-over-year drop in revenue after bringing in $484 million; and Downtown Las Vegas dropped 13 percent to $34 million.
Washoe County casinos enjoyed a better month. Reno brought in $50 million, more than 9 percent up from the same time last year, while the county overall saw a 7 percent jump in winnings.
South Lake Tahoe revenue of $17 million was up 17 percent.
The state of Nevada collected $38 million in taxes on the June revenue, which is 27 percent down from last year.
