The Nevada Gaming Control Board reported Thursday that land gambling operations in the state suffered an 11 percent decline in revenues to $855 million in March compared to the same period a year ago.
Most of the state’s top venues saw revenues fall, and even the Las Vegas Strip was down almost 15 percent year-on-year to $449 million. Downtown Las Vegas saw a 12 percent decrease and brought in $43 million.
The decline in revenues meant that the state collected 10 percent less in taxes…down at $71 million.
