The Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) said gambling revenues in the State during the month of September 2012 were up 3 percent compared to September 2011, while gambling win for the month yielded $ 893 million.
Las Vegas Strip delivered revenues of $497 million in September, up 1.2 percent while Las Vegas Downtown was up 6 percent. Reno revenues amounting to $49 million were up around one percent, while South Lake Tahoe’s $18 million win was up 5 percent.
Casino revenues for the three months ending September (Q3) are up nearly 6 percent over the same period last year.
Nevada State added $ 71 million in tax revenues to its coffers, a 38 percent year-over-year rise.
