Armenian online gambling software developer Digitain has launched a new app for the increasingly popular card game Belote, with both classic and open Belote versions included.
Characterising Belote as a “more cerebral alternative to the common British card game of Bridge”, Digitain says the new app is the latest in a series of skill games planned for international markets.
The developer says it is breaking down perceived complexities in skill games by building in an array of features that make games more accessible to novice and seasoned players through an easy to use interface and functionality.
Belote is firmly established as a skill game in France, claims Digitain CEO Suren Khachatryan:
“It’s just an accident of history that Belote’s popularity is yet to be globally recognised,” he said. “We’ve unpacked this skill card game for all users and introduced daily free tournaments on the app to improve players’ education and enjoyment of Belote.”
