New bet-editing functionality from Digitain

Multi-channel sports betting platform provider Digitain is rolling out what it claims is a unique bet re-selection tool that brings fresh flexibility to its sportsbook offering.

The Edit My Bet option allows players to turn an existing single or multiple selection into a more sophisticated multi-leg bet, either by adding more selections, or replacing current ones.

This gives players the flexibility to change their minds and react to the latest information or breaking news.

The new tool is set to go live with over 30 partners whom Digitain powers with its fully managed sportsbook solution.

CEO Suren Khachatryan, said in a statement Monday:

“Sports bettors appreciate that their favourite sports are driven by opinion, and these opinions move and change. With Edit My Bet, we’ve given them a facility with which to easily adjust, allowing people to contradict their initial thoughts by swapping out or completely dismissing a previous selection.

“This unique functionality permits players to play up the odds of their singles or multiples as well. We feel this will prove particularly popular when it comes to the football World Cup, as multiple selections are especially popular during tournaments.”

Any bet can be added to a betting opportunity using Edit My Bet, but replacement selections must be of the same odds or higher to existing ones, and such alterations cannot currently be made while any given event is in-play.

The innovation is the latest from Digitain’s fully-managed sportsbook platform, which offers odds on 65 different sports, taking in 7,500 leagues, and more than 3,000 betting markets. The company also offers over 30,000 live events each month.
