Openbet has wasted no time in finding a replacement for its recently departed CEO David Loveday , announcing Tuesday that it has found a replacement from within the organisation in Jeremy Thompson-Hill – formerly the chief operating officer and a company veteran with 13 years’ service to his credit.
Thompson-Hill joined the company in 2000 and working in a sales and operational capacity before being promoted Sales Director in 2003 and to COO in 2008. He has been credited with strengthening key customer relationships and has been instrumental in the expansion of OpenBet’s global operation, adding offices in Europe, Australia and North America.
Prior to OpenBet, he worked from 1996 to 2000 within the Amstrad group for Lord Sugar’s Viglen Technology Ltd in a sales capacity.
Ian Riley, a managing partner of Vitruvian and chairman of OpenBet, said: “With Jeremy’s knowledge and track record in the business, he is ideally suited to the position. OpenBet is well placed to continue to prosper and take on the exciting new opportunities that lie ahead both here in the domestic market and overseas.”
Thompson-Hill said: “I look forward to driving the company forward together with my management team and will focus on what we do best – developing industry leading technology that delivers innovative solutions for our customers on every level.”
