New chief exec for GREaT Foundation

The GREaT Foundation (Great) charity organisation that promotes responsible gambling has appointed Marc Etches as its new Chief Executive, effective July 1 2011.
Etches will succeed Geoffrey Godbold who will be stepping down on September 9 2011.
For the past seven years, Etches has run his own consultancy business and is currently studying for a PhD in “Public Policy and Casino Gaming”. Previously, he has held numerous positions in the leisure industry with First Leisure, Granada, Windsor Safari Park, Center Parcs and Leisure Parcs, which included Blackpool Tower and six UK piers.
“GREaT is delighted to have secured Marc’s services as Chief Executive in succession to Geoffrey Godbold. His experience, stature and wide contacts in the gambling industry will undoubtedly add a new impetus to GREaT’s fundraising activities,” said recently appointed Chairman, Neil Goulden.
