A collaboration by leading international football clubs and footballers has led to the launch of Dugout, a new, free-to-access digital social football platform offering exclusive football content to sports fans.
The platform will offer club and player originated content twenty-four hours before it is published on a wider basis.
“Football fans are hungry to discover the latest news and content from the game they love. With Dugout, we’ve created a destination that will house the best off pitch & behind the scenes content from the biggest teams and players, who want to continue to improve their connection to their global fan bases,” Elliot Richardson, president and co-founder of Dugout, said.
Big name involvement include FC Barcelona, Manchester City, AC Milan, Juventus, Paris St. Germain, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea football clubs.
The platform will operate across web and mobile channels in English, Spanish, German, Italian, French, Portuguese, Catalan and Indonesian initially.
