Pixel.bet has announced the launch in beta test format of its new eSports betting platform, allowing fans to bet on international competitions.
The company says that it will offer markets on competitions featuring major games like ‘Dota 2’, ‘Counter Strike’ and ‘League of Legends’, initially in the European Union, but later in other regions.
Company CEO Richard Smith says that at present eSports betting options usually occupy relatively small sections of general sports betting websites, and Pixel aims to change that by focusing on eSports and the games that eSports fans prefer.
“Pixel.bet has been designed to offer eSports fans a platform that is simple, fast and seamless.” Smith said Thursday. “With betting opportunities every day on our platform, pixel.bet offers millions of fans the chance to ‘master the game’.”
