Benjamin Bratke, and industry veteran whose eSports pedigree includes executive management at top German company Dojo Madness, has launched his latest venture, a Malta-licensed eSports betting company branded Esportsbetting.com.
Bratke and his team built the new platform in Malta, and have wisely decided from the outset to operate to the high standards of the Esports Integrity Coalition in offering fair and honest betting activity to punters.
The company has chosen Germany, Austria and Sweden as its initial target markets, although it has reportedly also applied for UK licensing. Players will be offered both pre-match and in-play options.
The latest numbers from independent eSports research company Newzoo predict that revenue growth in the vertical will rise 38 percent globally this year to $ 906 million, rising to $1.65 billion by 2021.
