Scientific Games Corporation has announced the forthcoming promotion of Michael Quartieri to Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of the group. He will be based at the group’s Las Vegas global headquarters, reporting to CEO and president Gavin Isaacs.
Quartieri joined Scientific Games last month as Vice President and Corporate Controller. He recently served nine years with Las Vegas Sands Corp., ending his tenure as Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer, and Global Controller.
Previously, he had 13-year tenure at Deloitte & Touche LLP, rising to the position of Director of Audit and Assurance Services, in which he specialised in gaming and hospitality clients.
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Master of Accounting from the University of Southern California and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Quartieri will assume accountability and responsibility for Scientific Games’ finance function, including accounting, financial planning and reporting, internal controls, investor relations, treasury, tax, and financial operations.
