New interactive TV betting channel launched in Italy

Telecom Italia and Intralot Italia have signed an agreement which allows players to bet from home via interactive television, using the new Cubovision – a broadband device that allows access to digital terrestrial channels, Internet content and an extensive catalogue of contents on demand.
Cubovision presents Italian punters with an interactive facility for betting on a wide range of sports that includes football, tennis, basketball, volleyball, baseball and rugby, simply using their television remote control units.
To place their bets, players must hold or open an Intralot account activated either online via the Intralot.it website, through the Intralot call centre, or via a diversity of P.O.S. outlets.
