Latest figures from New Jersey’s Division of Gaming Enforcement reflect a 24.6 percent rise in total gaming revenue to $229.6 million compared to January 2018.
Casino Win increased 9.2 percent to total $177.3 million vs $162.4 million in January 2018, while Internet Gaming Win was $33.6 million, up 53 percent.
January 2019’s Sports Wagering Gross Revenue was $18.8 million for the month. The Industry’s Total Gaming Revenue for the month was $229.6 million compared to $184.3 million for January 2018, reflecting a 24.6 percent increase.
Online casino revenue reached $31.7 million, up 58.5 percent year-on-year, however, online poker declined 3.5 percent to $1.88 million.
The State of New Jersey fattened its coffers by $19.9 million in total gaming taxes for the month of January 2019.
Golden Nugget remained ahead of the online pack, followed by new placement Resorts Digital Gaming, Borgata and Caesars, respectively, according to the DGE’s report.
